What this site collects

When you book an audit, apply for a website, download the checklist, or contact us, we collect what you type: your name, business name, phone number, email address, and anything you tell us about your business. Those forms are run by our customer relationship system, which stores them for us.

We also collect standard analytics data through Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, the site that referred you, and how you moved around the page. These tools use cookies. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which logs requests to keep it running and secure.

How we use it

To answer your inquiry, prepare and run your audit, deliver the services you buy, send you what you asked for, and improve this website. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers that run our forms, calendar, email, texting, hosting, and analytics, and only so they can run them.

Texts and emails

If you give us your phone number or email address, we may text or email you about your inquiry, your audit, or your account. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. We do not send marketing texts to anyone who has not asked for them.

Your customers' information, when you are a client

Part of our reputation management service is asking your customers for reviews on your behalf. To do that, clients give us customer names, phone numbers, and email addresses. We use that information only to send review requests and follow-ups in the client's name, we keep it only as long as the client works with us, and we never sell it, rent it, or use it for anything else. Clients confirm that they are allowed to contact their own customers this way. A customer who receives one of those messages can reply STOP at any time.

Photos and content

Photos, videos, and reviews that clients give us are used on the client's own website, profiles, and social accounts, and may be shown on this site as examples of our work with the client's permission. We do not create pictures of people with AI.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser and the site will still work. To see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to opt out of marketing, email jack@slatemarketingllc.com or call (502) 305-9815. We will answer within a few business days.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry and client information for as long as we work together and for a reasonable period afterward for records, then delete it. Our systems use encrypted connections and access limited to the two founders and the service providers named above.

Children

This site is for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date. Continued use of the site after that date means you accept the change.
