    From Campus Track Splits to Full-Stack Agency Builders.

    Slate Marketing LLC didn’t start in a corporate boardroom—it started on the track at Bellarmine University. Jack and Daxton met as Division I cross-country and track teammates, bonding over early morning mileage, a shared passion for investing, and an itch to build something of their own.

    Their first business idea? A residential cleaning company.

    It didn't take long to realize scrubbing floors was going to consume all their time without building real leverage. By October, they pivoted to what they actually cared about: digital marketing, high-performance web development, and helping local businesses dominate online.

    Today, Jack manages strategy and web builds while completing his degree online through Indiana University, and Daxton leads client relations and Cincinnati market expansion while competing at Bellarmine. We obsess over the business every single day—and we’re just getting warmed up.
